Dinagat Island is a province in northeastern Mindanao. It consists of several islands, the largest and most important of which is Dinagat Island. The province has a population of around 127,000 and is known for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush forests. Its economy is mainly based on agriculture, fishing, and mining, with nickel being the province's most important mineral resource. The province is also rich in cultural heritage with several historical sites and monuments including the Church of San Jose which dates back to Spanish colonial times.
