Maragusan is a first-class municipality in the province of Davao De Oro located on the border of Pantukan and Davao Oriental. It has a population of 64,412 people according to census 2022 and is considered the 3rd most populated municipality in the province. Maragusan is surrounded by vast mountains as the main city is situated at the center and looks like in the center a “Kawa” (frying Pan).

Mati City is known as one of the tourism capitals of the Davao Region, notorious for its sand resorts and paradise islets . Mati City has located 182 km or about a 3-hour Car ride from Davao megacity, where the nearest transnational field in Mindanao is located. Mati City is known for Dahican Beach, Davao Oriental Museum, and the Sleeping Dinosaur.

Mati City is located in the paradisiacal fiefdom of Davao Oriental. Time to go back to the megacity center before lunch after a community visit at Barangay Tambak. This is also the time for a short stop at the notorious mountain in the megacity called “ the Sleeping dinosaur” located along the public road in Barangay Badas.

  Aliwagwag Waterfalls is part tropical lowlands rainforest of Aliwagwag Protected Landscape located in the 2nd class Municipality of Cateel, East Coast of Davao Oriental in the Philippines.  Cateel is much known when it comes to Agriculture to support the needs of more the forty (40) thousand populations. But in 2012, the town is severely affected by category 5 typhoon Pablo that destroys major parts of the town; many families lose their homes, livelihoods, and the Aliwagwag Falls.
