Sugbongcogon, Misamis Oriental

Sugbongcogon is a 5th-class municipality in the province of Misamis Oriental, Philippines. As of the 2020 census, it has a population of 9,764 inhabitants. The age group with the highest population in Sugbongcogon is between 5 and 9 years old, with 1,138 individuals. Aggregated by age groups, persons 14 years of age and younger, including the dependent young population including infants/infants, children, and young adults/young adults, make up a total of 35. 42%.

Finally, the dependent elderly group includes the elderly, those aged 65 years or older, accounting for a total of 5. 87% (542). The calculated age dependency ratio means that in the population of Sugbongcogon, there are 60 dependent young people per 100 working-age population; for every 100 people in the labor force, there are 10 elderly/elderly; overall there are 70 dependents (young and old) per 100 workforces. The mean age is 23 indicating that half of the total Sugbongcogon population is under 23 years old and the other half is over 23 years old.
