Municipality of Naawan, Misamis Oriental

Naawan is a  municipality in the province of Misamis Oriental, Philippines. The commune's population is estimated at 22,444 people according to the 2020 census. Naawan has earned a national reputation as one of the most beautiful cities in the country, as well as the cleanest city in the Philippines in 2008. In 1957, Naawan town, then part of Initao, was merged into Naawan City.

Population

University

MSU-Naawan turned into installed withinside the 1960s and 1970s as a subject technology laboratory for clinical studies withinside the subject with the college`s principal campus in Marawi City, Lanao del Sur. With the participation of the Mindanao State University Fisheries College, the Marine Fisheries Technology School graduated its first batch of college graduates in 1985. Separate from the college system, the Anh Vien School of Marine Fisheries Technology is referred to as MSU - Fisheries Research and Development Institute.
