Municipality of Medina, Misamis Oriental

Medina is a 4th class municipality in the province of Misamis Oriental, Philippines with a population of 35,612, According to the 2020 census. The city takes its name from Medina-Sidonia, Spain, after the Spaniards noticed similarities in characteristics with  Medina-Sidonia.

Medina is an agricultural town where rice, coconut, and fish are the major products. 

 Medina is politically subdivided into 19 barangays.
