New Provincial Capitol of Maguindanao

Buluan is a 4th class Municipality and the new executive capital of Maguindanao on the island of Mindanao, Philippines. It has a population of 57,406 people according to the 2020 census and is politically subdivided into 7 barangays. Buluan is located in the east part of Mindanao, less than an hour's drive from Tacurong City in Sultan Kudarat.

On this trip, we have nothing else to do completely but just visit the modern provincial office located on the national road and take random shots of the surroundings.

Originally the provincial office is located in Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao but in 2014, the provincial capital of Maguindanao was built in Buluan town, but, the legislative branch of the provincial government, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, convened in the old town of Sultan Kudarat. Still recognized if we're looking at the google map

Since Buluan is a predominantly Muslim population therefore the strict enforcement of the dress code will be noticed especially among young women. We passed to a school area where shots were taken of some students outside that are happily chatting and shown to them after it was taken. Their reaction is priceless!
