The Pink Mosque of Maguindanao, BARMM

The Pink Mosque is located in the small city of Datu Saudi Ampatuan, Maguindanao in the Philippines. Also known as The Dimaukom Mosque, constructed during the leadership of Mayor Samsudin Dimaukom where the land was bestowed by the Mayor’s family.

This Mosque was painted in Pink, emblematizing love, peace, and progress. It was erected by the Christian pool, representing the interfaith brotherhood, showing that the demonstration of peace in Maguindanao is perfecting. It is also the first mosque painted in pink BARMM independent region and in the Philippines.

HOW TO GET THERE

From Cotabato Airport
  • Bespeak a flight going to Cotabato City (Awang Airport)
  • At the Field, ride a hack going to the Bus Terminal
  • Look for Husky Bus station bound for Isulan, Sultan Kudarat, or General Santos City.
  • Lift a Husky Bus (BiocrestMulti-Purpose Cooperative) going to Cotabato
    • Bus stops at the Following Town
      • Datu Odin Sinsuat
      • Datu Saudi-Ampatuan
      • Datu Hoffer Ampatuan
      • Shariff Aguak
      • Ampatuan
      • Esperanza
  • Get off to the Junction at Datu Saudi Ampatuan Townhall or Police station
  • From there, just a short walk to reach the Pink Mosque

From General Santos City
  • Bespeak a flight going to General Santos City field
  • At the airport, ride a cab going to the Bulaong terminal
  • from there, catch up a Bus going to Isulan
From Isulan
  • Lift a Husky Bus (BiocrestMulti-Purpose Cooperative) going to Cotabato
    • Bus stops at 
      • Esperanza
      • Ampatuan
      • Shariff Aguak
      • Datu Hoffer Ampatuan
      • Datu Saudi-Ampatuan
      • Datu Odin Sinsuat
  • Get off to the Junction at Datu Saudi Ampatuan Townhall or Police station
  • From there, just a short walk to reach the Pink Mosque
