Tandag City | The Bat Sanctuary & The Lady Lourdes Grotto - Surigao Del Sur

Tandag City is located in the Capital of Surigao Del Sur in Mindanao, a 5th class megacity with over 66 thousand population. I've visited this awful place numerous times and I witnessed huge advancements from the road to a place to eat. In moment’s visit, this is presumably the last. I'll formerly again be stranded nearly differently for a job call.

This trip is made from Siargao Island; since the boat trip from Siargao to Surigao City was canceled, so, we decided tore-route to Hayanggabon harborage in the city of Claver in Surigao del Norte using a small boat. The rainfall was bad, we endured the northeast thunderstorm in the middle of the ocean. We were all quiet and nervous as we allowed it was our end. Extremely strong winds and incomprehensible swells.

We rested a while and let go of unease, Arriving at Hayanggabon Port; take a lunch and go. Along the road to Tandag City are the mining spots seated at the beautiful mountain views. We arrive in Tandag City before evening as we headed to the quarter to rest a while

BAY WALK

Time for regale, the platoon gets outdoors to find good foods. We tried several caffs but full of costumer, beaneries are alive in this megacity. We headed to the Bay walk and end up at a small caff house. Baywalk is popular for locals; a place to relax and dine especially in the autumn when enjoying the fresh air from the reinforcement.

The Tandag City Lady Lourdes Grotto

The coming day we visited some of the communities oppressively affected by Typhoon Odette in the littoral areas. Then, I noticed lots of catcalls flying to the hill. This is a normal script daily, according to the locals. Their community is closed to the Bat sanctuary.

So we reach the hill after the community visit and the Lady Lourdes cavern which is positioned at the hill entrance. The gate is open, so we tried to get near by stairs for a short contemplation.

This place features a station of the cross as we reach by the wide rambler going to the hilltop. A Stunning view with an ocean background is staying while a variety of foliage & faunas is alive in this area.

The BAT Sanctuary

On the same hill, you can also see the playing Batons and Monkeys happily enjoy their sanctuary. They live freely and the original government confined the people to disturb their homes or being caught.
