Visiting the Meteor Crater site in Arizona, USA

Welcome to the world’s best-preserved Meteor Impact site on the planet! Meteor Crater was a spectacular result of an asteroid collision traveling around the planet a thousand years ago.  This journey starts from Simi Valley, California.  

 
We take a long journey to the corridor of Arizona state for a short holiday. Several stops we’ve made to gas up, get snacks.  After many hours- drive, we were chronicling a literal point, traversing the desert part of Arizona. It is my first time to visit this State and see an actual meteor crater and even the meteorite that crash on the land.

The Meteor Crater is located approximately 18 miles west of Winslow, the northern part of Arizona state. At the entrance will see the extensive overall map of the Park. After paying for the entrance, time to go to the view deck as the best spot to enjoy the crater panorama.

This crater measures roughly 37 mi (60 km) incontinently visible an impact crater created by a huge meteor strike several centuries agone.  In the size and depth of the crater, it appears like a dried lake with a deep pit measuring 45 meters from the flat part around it.  Also noteworthy is the thick subcaste of a crushed gemstone on the face of the bedrock, a combination of native gemstone strata and fractured meteorite fraction. This must be considered one of the stylish saved meteor craters on earth.

After sightseeing, time head back when I saw a resting Park with a replica of NASA test Capsule and walls of fame with a bunch of modern heroes name in space, the astronauts. That’s  Insane!

Before the exit,  there is a museum that can be seen with factual nickel-iron meteorite objects displayed protected with a glass lid, and other space artifact space can be found in this area. Also, souvenirs are on sale at the shop inside.
