Hop time at Puhada Island in Mati City, Davao Oriental

Puhada is an Island located in Mati City, Davao Oriental, a 30 minutes boat ride to the community of Dahican. The Island has 150 hectares wide most partly are forests with a small fresh lake at the center and the finest white sand around the shore.  It is privately owned, underdeveloped but yet still one of a virgin Island I been visited this year.

Puhada Island is the best for the person who loves Island hopping. Hire a boat good for 10-15 people from Brgy. Dahican to reach the untouched island.  Tourist is allowed to bring their foods but must be aware of the rules while inside the Island.  you can also buy fresh kinds of seafood from fishermen who passing on this island and they usually sold their catch at a cheaper price.

Puhada Island proudly represents its very fine and powdery sand which is much better and unexploited to any beaches I've ever visited yet. The perfect getaway for those people who like to relax and escape out of city noises without spending too much of your budget. The Island has no available cottages and accommodations meanwhile only trees will be served as your resting place and shelter to relax.
