Playing over snow on a toboggan at the Bear Mountain in Southern California
One weekend morning, Big Bear mountain invited me to go to see the snowfalls. This trip must have a lot of first-time to be experienced by chance; my first time to see actual fall of snowflakes; first time to drive in the snow? first time to slide downhill over snow on a toboggan? this must be fun.
The Big Bear Mountain is located in the heart of southern California widely known as the jewel of the Bernardino National Forest, famous for its various recreational activities, fishing sites, snowboarding & skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and more. . .
From Simi Valley, we traveled 130 miles along the C-210 W route to the snow-capped mountain, the Big Bear Mountain; observing the magnificent views while traversing the stretch of the superhighway and the mountains, everything hit by the camera lens is amusing.
After 2 hours' drive, we have reached the starting part of the Mountain, there is no snow yet, but it feels strange that the car windshield starts fogging, indicating that I will be experiencing the coldest weather in my life, and is now approaching.
The zigzag road is approaching going to the mountain top. Then, suddenly it snows, not very thick, but I can see the small particles of snow falling. I was overwhelmed, a dream fulfilled! a big difference between the rain and the wind that I experience every rainy season.
Eventually, we spent most of our time at the Big Bear Snow Play. Geared with winter clothing and ready to combat the freezing weather. Yay, still penetrating all over my muscles. I should have brought a ticker garment or maybe I just locked myself in the house. no way? this is more fun than sleeping, right. Now paying the entrance fee, long queuing, getting colder and windy.
It was one of my happiest days, to slide downhill over snow on a toboggan. freezing but fun! I definitely enjoyed this trip. . . . .
