Mindanao| A must visit place in Sultan Kudarat Province
During this post epidemic time, I had an occasion to visit the fiefdom of Sultan Kudarat in Mindanao for a week. This fiefdom is located 100 kilometers from General Santos City, the profitable mecca of the SOCCSKSARGEN region (region 12), and a neighbor fiefdom of Maguindanao.
The capital is Isulan, the alternate populous city next to Tacurong City. Sultan Kudarat is named to the stalwart Moro idol the great sultan of Maguindanao in 1851-1671 led the Sultanate of Mindanao during his reign.
The iconic statehouse was primarily erected while the new Arena and the provincial hospital was added recently. Contrary, the Capitol compount is truly the state of the art with a jaw-dropping structure similar to an ultramodern gallery and structures overseas.
Sultan Kudarat comprises 11 cosmopolises with a population of further than 850 thousand occupants; primarily dominated by Christians while colorful languages are spoken in the fiefdom like Higaylanon, Ilocano, Maguindanaon, Ilonggo, Cebuano, and further.
On this side trip, I visit some of the greatest spots in Sultan Kudarat. This is what I got!
The Provincial Capitol Compound
From Kidapawan City, I packed my effects and started my trip going to Sultan Kudarat for work. It was late autumn when we arrived at Isulan city, the place is quiet, with less traffic, and there are Covid19 restrictions to be followed.
After the checkpoint, we’re passing the Capitol Emulsion in insane design and there are new structures erected that nearly act beside the statehouse structure, the parochial sanitarium and the Arena. We snappily stopped to snare many shots.
Sundown at the Mountains
The sun is going down, a stylish moment to fly a drone, check the battery and flight set. Located in Isulan, the statehouse emulsion served as a distinctive point of the fiefdom featuring its gigantic structure with unique designs attached to the artistic heritage of the people.
Drink to Isulan, as the sun welcomes me! It sounded to mention as the sun swallowed down by the mountains. The day is over!
The locally produced coffee of Senator Ninoy Aquino Town
The coming day, we traveled going to the small city of Senator Ninoy Aquino for an important day of work covering the uphill windy roads for further than an hour's drive.
The climate is cooler amongst 11 municipalities; not so popular, but widely known as Culaman, an isolated uptown . Still, there are rising sightseer spots. But for me, one of the stylish that the city could be proud of! the locally produced coffee called Kape Dulangan.
The Bansada Viewing Deck of Bagumbayan
Upon returning back to Isulan, we passed a rising magnet of Bagumbayan town located before reaching the downtown. We turned left, folllowed the sign for a kilometer down from the trace.
At the entrance, we ask to register and be acquainted with the Covid19 protocols. All set to climb up! To reach the higland, you can use either by stair walk through the hundreds of ways or by riding vehicle. A motorcycle for hire staying the small terminal beside the entrance.
At the highland, there are small shops selling variety of food and souvineirs. At the Park, will see different kinds of Bali-inspired lodestones, and nice geography. Not far is an octagon shape view sundeck that gives an overlooking view of the low land area of Sultan Kudarat girdled with stunning mountain ranges.
Another spot is a building beside the higland entrance with an open space and a small cafe. At the sencond floor, it has a free spaces best for photoshoot.
The La Palmera Mountain Ridge
On my third day in Sultan Kurat, we visited the landlocked city of Columbio. We traveled further than an hour trip from Isulan. The road is under construction, unpaved, rocky. In the autumn, had the occasion to visit the La Palmera Mountain Ridge.
A highland of the notorious magnet not just in fiefdom but also in Mindanao Island. Utmost I enjoyed in this place, the Batanes likewise mountain crests, Bali inspire lodestones and traditional apartments.
The Palm Tree Plantation
Along with, thousands of Palm Trees can be planted not just in Columbio city but also in the different cities of Sultan Kudarat. In fact, the La Palmera Mountain Ridge is Positioned inside the Palm Tree Plantation. The fiefdom of Sultan Kudarat is also known as one of the producers of quality Palm Oil in the Country.
HOW TO GET THERE
From outside Mindanao, reserved a flight going to General Santos City, South Cotabato or Cotabato City.
From General Santos City,
- catch up a Bus trip from Bulaong terminal in Gensan going to Isulan, Sultan Kudarat. travel time for lower than 3 hours lift.
From Cotabato City
Still, catch up a Bus trip bound for Tacurong City, then, get off at Isulan Bus Terminal. The Bus will have arrived first at Isulan Town before Tacurong City.
