A Day Trip to Sea World Oasis in Pantukan, Comval Province

Are you looking for a great place to celebrate your occasion? Have fun and make a memorable experience at Sea World Oasis Resort. Situated in Lower Lahi, Pantukan, this resort offers affordable and bigger cottages ideal for a relaxing stay with family and friends.  You're wondering where Pantukan is located? well, this coastal town is covered by Compostela Valley in Davao Region, Mindanao.

Sometime in June when I invited the family for an unplanned outing before stepping in for a long month of work. In short, they recalled the postponed birthday plan at the Sea World Oasis Resort, so, we first contacted the resort through social media to confirm the availability of the place and gladly, it was open. We decided to leave Davao City after lunch so that we still have time to pack some needed things for this day trip.

The municipality of Pantukan is more than a 2-hour road trip with an estimated 108 kilometers from Davao City, passing Surigao - Davao Road to Mati City in Davao Oriental. Actually, Pantukan is on the boundary of Compostela Valley province and Davao Oriental province.

Best Ice Cream in Maco Town
On our way to Pantukan, we briefly stopped at a popular ice cream store called Berns in Maco town which is very famous among the locals. The servings are unique and we were not disappointed with its delicious and creamy taste. Then, we took the road going to Pantukan/ Sea World Oasis Resort using Google Maps.

At the Sea World Oasis
After paying for the entrance, we decided to go around and find a place to relax since we did not book any cottage but we ask the information counter if we just have a quick visit and order some snacks at the restaurant. But of course, the kids will not agree if they will steep at the pool. One of the highlights of this resort is the several options poolside from moderate to 7 feet depth; better just to swim at the kids' pool so it wouldn't drown.

Aside from the poolside, it is also noteworthy a big space that can accommodate a large event.  Bigger cottages ideal for a big group installed beside the poolside.

The Pawikan Restaurant
At the resort's front, you will notice the long wooden bridge connected to the Pawikan restaurant served Filipino food choices at a reasonable price. This restaurant is one of the great spots in this resort to catch the glimpse of the sunset while enjoying the beautiful ocean view. But sadly, I haven't had a chance to take some aerial shots due to the loss of my memory card.

You can enjoy the mouth-watering food while relishing the relaxing view of the sea and the sunset unless it was a cloudy day as we experienced. The resort also offers a festival buffet featuring Filipino food and delicacies on special occasions. Aside from spacious amenities and great food, you can also enjoy Aqua sports offered by resorts like kayaking, snorkeling, and diving. Here at Sea World Oasis Resort, you can share good memories with your family and colleagues!

From Davao City, head on the Ecoland Grand Terminal then catch up a Bachelor bus bound for Mati City. The Bus normally departed every 30 minutes while travel takes less than three hours ride.
