Basilan - a home of almost 113, 000 populations located across the north side of Zamboanga City and the Malamawi Island offshore. It is a promising Island Province with two booming cities, Lamitan and Isabela City. It is also a diverse community where a sizable presence of Chavacanos, Tausug, and Yakans. The Sama tribe, Maranaos, Ilocanos, Cebuanos and Chinese are the minorities. Numerous dialects also spoken, but primarily used by most inhabitants is Chavacano, Tausug, Cebuano, and Yakan.  English is also mostly used by locals.

San Francisco is a vibrant community with a rich history and a growing economy. The agricultural sector remains the backbone of the economy, but the city is also exploring new growth opportunities such as ecotourism. Isulan is a developing urban municipality located in the Province of Sultan Kudarat with a population of people. It is the center of trade fiefdom piecemeal from Tacurong City and served as a parochial capital of Sultan Kudarat province and to the southern city neighbor fiefdom of South Cotabato and Maguindanao.   During this visit, I'll take you for a walk to some of the iconic structures in this city that are frequently visited by trippers.  

Tandag City is located in the Capital of Surigao Del Sur in Mindanao, a 5th class megacity with over 66 thousand population. I've visited this awful place numerous times and I witnessed huge advancements from the road to a place to eat. In moment’s visit, this is presumably the last. I'll formerly again be stranded nearly differently for a job call.

Cantilan is a municipality positioned on the east coast of Mindanao, overlooking the Philippine Sea. The city was originally inhabited by indigenous people known as the Mamanwa, who were able hunter-gatherers. The area was later settled by Christianized immigrants from nearby areas, particularly  Bohol and Leyte, who established small fishing villages.   During the Spanish colonial period, Cantilán was part of the Tandag district, which he founded in 1861. In 1907, Cantilan became a municipality with its first elected mayor, Don Aniseto Sarmiento.    During World War II, Cantilan was occupied by Japanese forces, and the town was garrisoned. After visiting Julio’s Point in Glan, Sarangani province, we returned home to Davao City for weekdays works; our routine bonding is to travel the unknown by the weekend.  At this moment, we went to the town of Kitaotao in Bukidnon province – a more than two hours ride from home and famous for its mountains covered where colorful sightseer lodestones can scout.  The climate here is tropically cool that’s why numerous travelers are obsessed to vacate the city and stay here during the weekend. 

The Lumang Simbahan is located in Poblacion, Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro. This Old Church was built in its namesake Recollects Parish “Parokya ng Rekoleto” as a church and convent for Nuns made of stone finished with lime or  “apog” during the leadership of Padre Jacinto Perez de San Agustin in 1861-1866. 

The Binalbal Festival is celebrated every first of January in Tudela, Misamis Occidental in the Philippines. Binalbal means “Balbal” in Cebuano, symbolize a unique tradition and belief of the town about supernaturals, the witches, ogres, and the like elements which can be compared to the Halloween feast. The beginning of the celebration is called the “ Masquerade Ball" which begins every 31st of December, together with the new Year welcome until noontime of January first with the grand parade of the Festival.    

Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat has many unique stories and cultures. Once part of the 'Greater Maguindanao Empire', it has a rich history of royal warfare and religious conquests. The lush landscape offers breathtaking views and the people are known for their hospitality. Descendants of the region's former rulers still live there today, preserving the city's colorful heritage.
